1) The Annunciation of Virgin Mary
2) The Greek Revolution of 1821
As you can see, in Greece every national day is celebrated in conjunction with Orthodoxy, and to be more specific with Theotokos, our Mother, that has helped the Greek nation in their battles with countless miracles.
